The NCCP Development 1 Clinic is designed for coaches working with players at the competitive levels of hockey. This clinic focuses on helping coaches effectively motivate, lead, and support athletes as they transition into a more competitive environment. By emphasizing positive coaching behaviours and best practices, coaches develop strong habits that enhance both player performance and development.
The Development 1 Clinic provides coaches with an in-depth, practical understanding of:
- Team building and leadership
- Skill development fundamentals
- Effective drill design
- Creating and applying drill progressions
- Practice planning and organization
