GTHL and Dairy Farmers of Ontario announce new partnership

TORONTO, ON – The Greater Toronto Hockey League (GTHL) is proud to announce a new partnership with Dairy Farmers of Ontario, making Milk an Official Partner of the GTHL for the 2025-26 season.

Through this one-year partnership, Milk will be the Title Sponsor of the GTHL’s Under-18 (U18) House League Team Sponsorship Program, supporting up to 41 U18 teams across the League. The initiative aims to provide critical resources and opportunities for players to continue their hockey journey while promoting healthy, active lifestyles — all fuelled by milk.

In addition, Milk will serve as the Presenting Sponsor of the GTHL Bursary Program, which awards two $5,000 bursaries annually to deserving GTHL members. These bursaries will be presented at the GTHL Awards Gala, recognizing players who demonstrate excellence on the ice, in the classroom, and in their communities.

“Dairy Farmers of Ontario is proud to partner with the Greater Toronto Hockey League,” says Cheryl Smith, CEO at Dairy Farmers of Ontario. “This partnership reflects our commitment to promoting healthy, active lifestyles and investing in youth across Ontario, while supporting youth in their pursuit of their athletic and academic goals.”

“This partnership with Dairy Farmers of Ontario provides an incredible opportunity to support our house leagues, particularly at the U18 level,” said Scott Oakman, Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer of the GTHL. “It allows us to keep more players engaged in the game while promoting health, teamwork, and community. The addition of the bursary program further extends that support, helping players pursue their goals beyond the rink.”

This partnership reflects a shared commitment to empower the next generation of athletes — both on and off the ice.
