The Leaside Flames captured the 2026 GTHL Under-11 A Championship with a dramatic Game 4 win over the Applewood Coyotes.
Leaside took Game 1 by a 4-1 score before the teams skated to a 2-2 draw in Game 2. Applewood responded with a 3-2 victory in Game 3 to force a deciding Game 4, where the Flames sealed the championship with a 1-0 double-overtime win.
