The Vaughan Kings captured the GTHL Under-16 AAA Championship with a hard-fought five-game series win over the Toronto Jr. Canadiens.
The Kings took Games 1 and 2 for a 2-0 series lead before the Jr. Canadiens responded with wins in Games 3 and 4 to force a Game 5. On Sunday, March 22 at Scotiabank Pond, the Kings sealed the championship with a 6-3 win.
