The Vaughan Rangers captured the GTHL Under-16 AA Championship with a five-game series win over the Scarborough Young Bruins.
The Young Bruins struck first with a 4-1 victory in Game 1, but Vaughan settled into the series with a 2-2 draw in Game 2. The Rangers then took over with a 3-1 win in Game 3, a 3-2 victory in Game 4, and a 3-0 shutout in Game 5 to clinch the title.
