LiveBarn Analytics Named Official Analytics Platform of the Greater Toronto Hockey League

The multi-year partnership brings video-connected youth hockey analytics to the world’s largest minor hockey league.

Toronto, ON — LiveBarn, which streams live and on-demand video from thousands of rinks across North America, and the Greater Toronto Hockey League (GTHL) today announced a multi-year partnership that will make LiveBarn Analytics the Official Analytics Platform of the GTHL. The partnership will give coaches, players, and families across the GTHL the opportunity to use advanced video and game insights.

Developed by LiveBarn in collaboration with Sportlogiq, which was recently acquired by Teamworks, LiveBarn Analytics combines LiveBarn video with advanced game and player insights designed to support player development, coaching, and the overall youth hockey experience. Through the partnership, the GTHL and LiveBarn will work together to introduce the platform across the League, with LiveBarn Analytics available to teams, coaches, and families at every level when it launches this hockey season.

“We’ve been welcomed into arenas and homes across North America for years, and we don’t take that for granted,” said Ray Giroux, CEO of LiveBarn. “LiveBarn Analytics is our way of deepening that experience, helping coaches, parents, and players understand and enjoy the game even more. We’re proud to bring a product to market that fits the needs of the entire hockey ecosystem, and doing that alongside the GTHL is a privilege.”

“Providing our players, coaches, and families with tools that support development and continue to improve participant experience is important for the GTHL,” said Scott Oakman, Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer of the GTHL. “LiveBarn is already a familiar part of our arenas, and this partnership builds on that relationship by giving our members access to new insights that can help them better understand the game. We’re excited about the value LiveBarn Analytics can bring to participants at every level of our League.”
