The Greater Toronto Hockey League has outlined the formats for the 2026 GTHL Playoffs presented by GSW.
Ahead of the 2025-26 playoffs, the GTHL consulted with Member Associations to provide players with the best possible post-season experience. With the success of the 2025 Playoffs, the following formats return to declare the 2025-2026 GTHL Playoff Champions.
In the Under-10 to U12 age groups, the GTHL holds a qualification round for teams to join the first round of the playoffs. The qualification round provides every team a postseason experience.
The U10 to U13 age groups will follow the Hockey Canada pathways, incorporating Round Robin play to provide teams an equal playing opportunity in the group phases.
The U14 to U18 continue with the traditional format of a playoff series style.
