The U18 ‘AA’ All-Star Game was the middle match-up of the 2026 U18 All-Star Festival fuelled by Gatorade on Saturday, January 24. With two standout rosters on the ice and plenty of pace from the opening puck drop, Team Red delivered a strong finish to earn a 5-2 win over Team Blue.
Team Red opened the scoring in the first period as Bobby Conacher (Leaside Flames) found the back of the net to give his side an early lead. Kyle Cabral (Vaughan Panthers) added another to make it a 2-0 game in the middle frame for Team Red. Team Blue got on the board before the end of the second as Daniel Borsellino (Duffield Devils) cut the deficit to 2-1 heading into the final frame.
In the third period, Team Red restored its two-goal cushion when Christian Pye (Mississauga Beast) made it 3-1. Team Blue didn’t go away quietly, responding just under two minutes later as Christopher Caravasilis (North Toronto) pulled them back within one to make it a 3-2 game. From there, Team Red shut the door and pulled away late, with Remi Kishk (Leaside Flames) adding an insurance marker before Max Bazhutin (Mississauga Jets) sealed the 5-2 final with an empty-net goal.
Gatorade Most Valuable Player honours went to Bobby Conacher (Leaside Flames) for Team Red after posting a goal and an assist, while Team Blue’s MVP was goaltender Panayiotis Vavaroutsos (Duffield Devils).
The GTHL extends a gracious thank-you to both Gatorade for fuelling the 2026 U18 All Stars, and Gitch Sportswear, the U18 All-Star Festival’s apparel partner.
