Three GTHL Alumni Named to Italy’s Men’s National Hockey Team for 2026 Olympic Winter Games

On January 20, Italy revealed its men’s national hockey team for the upcoming 2026 Winter Olympic Games. The host country’s roster includes three Greater Toronto Hockey League alumni:

  • Daniel Mantenuto (Markham Majors)
  • Dylan Di Perna (Mississauga Rebels) 
  • Gregory Di Tomaso (North York Rangers)

Team Italy, as hosts, will play their first game on the opening day of tournament on February 11 against Sweden. Finland and Slovakia round out Group B alongside Sweden and Italy.

Every team will advance from the group round to the knockout stage, with the three group winners and the top second-place team advancing straight to the quarter-finals.
