The Greater Toronto Hockey League (GTHL) is excited to announce that the King Clancy Cup is returning for the 2025-26 season, building on the success of its relaunch last year. Designed to extend the season and provide meaningful competition for teams no longer active in the GTHL Playoffs presented by GSW, the King Clancy Cup will expand once again — opening additional spots to accommodate even more teams across the Under-10 to U18 age groups.
Due to strong interest and positive feedback from coaches, players, and families, the 2025-26 edition of the King Clancy Cup will welcome an increased number of participating teams, ensuring more players can extend their season through meaningful, structured play.
The tournament will follow a familiar format, including round robin play followed by playoffs, with all participating teams guaranteed a minimum number of games based on the number of teams in a division.
Teams interested in participating are encouraged to email [email protected] to express interest and be notified immediately when registration opens.
Teams interested in participating are encouraged to stay tuned. Registration information, timelines, and full tournament details will be released in the coming months.
