The 2026 OHL Cup Selection Show will be held this coming Friday, March 20 at 6:00 p.m., streaming on the OHL’s X, Facebook, and YouTube accounts as 10 different teams will be identified ahead of the annual showcase that begins on Monday, March 30 at Scotiabank Pond in Toronto.
OHL Director of Hockey Development Darrell Woodley and Peter Kourtis, General Manager of the Greater Toronto Hockey League, will reveal the two teams chosen by the OHL Cup Selection Committee to gain direct entry into this year’s showcase.
An additional eight teams will be identified as Selection Committee choices to compete in wild card play-in games on the morning of Monday, March 30. The four wild card play-in matchups will be determined by random draw as part of Friday’s Selection Show.
Wild card entries have reigned supreme four different times in the history OHL Cup Showcase, with past examples such as the 2025 champion Toronto Jr. Canadiens, 2022 Mississauga Senators, 2017 Reps Hockey Club, and 2010 Mississauga Rebels.
