The Avalanche are the 2026 GTHL Under-15 A champions after defeating the Leaside Flames in a six-game Championship Series that went down to a deciding Game 6.
Leaside opened the series with back-to-back wins, edging the Avalanche 4-3 in Game 1 and earning a 2-1 victory in Game 2 to take control early. The Avalanche responded with a 5-1 win in Game 3 and followed it up with a 4-2 victory in Game 4 to even the series.
After the teams battled to a 1-1 tie in Game 5, the championship was decided in Game 6, where the Avalanche delivered their strongest performance of the series in a 7-3 win to secure the title.
