TORONTO, ON — Registration is now open for the 2026 GTHL Platinum Cup, one of the Greater Toronto Hockey League’s premier early-season tournaments.

Set for Friday, November 27 to Sunday, November 29, 2026 at Scotiabank Pond in Toronto, the 2026 event will mark a major expansion for the Platinum Cup with the addition of a new Under-10 division. Traditionally contested as an Under-11-only tournament, the Platinum Cup will now welcome 48 teams across six divisions: U10 A, U10 AA, U10 AAA, U11 A, U11 AA, and U11 AAA.
Each division will feature eight teams, creating a 48-team format that doubles the size of the tournament’s previous 24-team field. All participating teams are guaranteed four games, with round-robin play followed by a playoff round beginning with the quarter-finals.
The 2026 GTHL Platinum Cup is open to Hockey Canada-sanctioned, OHF, and USA Hockey teams competing at the U10 and U11 A, AA, and AAA levels. All teams will be required to submit their official Hockey Canada or USA Hockey roster and will be subject to approval by the tournament host committee.
The expansion of the Platinum Cup reflects the continued growth of the event and gives more teams the opportunity to compete in one of the GTHL’s signature tournaments.
