A total of 66 GTHL Minor Midget players from 12 different “AAA” Clubs were selected to one of 20 OHL teams at the 2020 OHL Priority Selection. Six GTHL players were selected in the first round, including first overall selection Ty Nelson of the Toronto Jr. Canadiens.
Nelson, who was drafted by the North Bay Battalion, was one of eleven players from the top-ranked Toronto Jr. Canadiens to be selected. The Toronto Titans also had eleven players drafted over the 15 rounds, followed closely by the Toronto Marlboros who had ten players chosen.
Thirty-seven of the 40 players who participated in the 2019 GTHL Top Prospects Game, Powered by Under Armour were selected in the draft.
