• Vince Spagnuolo Tournament of Champions (January 10-12) 

Every January the Heartland Dragons Hockey Association hosts the annual Vince Spagnuolo House League Tournament of Champions. The tournament structure ensures great fun is had by all participants. The tournament welcomes teams in the Under-9, U11, and U13 divisions.

• Toronto Aeros Winter Challenge Tournament (January 16-19) 

The Toronto Aeros Winter Challenge Tournament is back for another season. This tournament welcomes teams across U10, U11, U12, U13, U14, U15, U16, U17 and U18 ‘A’ and ‘AA’ divisions.

• EHL/Amesbury 18th Annual Select Winter Classic (January 17-19) 

The Etobicoke Hockey League (EHL) is set to host the 18th Annual Select Winter Classic. The tournament will welcome 88 teams across U7, U8, U9, U10, U11, U12, U13, U14, U15, U16, and U18 select, House A, U8MD, U9DM, and BB divisions.

• U18 All-Star Festival fuelled by Gatorade (January 25)

The 2025 U18 All-Star Festival fuelled by Gatorade will take place January 25 at Scotiabank Pond. Announced on December 11, the U18 ‘A’ All-Star Game will take place at 10:00AM, with the U18 ‘AA’ All-Stars taking to the ice for a matinee match-up at 1:00PM. The U18 ‘AAA’ All-Stars will cap off the three match-ups at 4:00PM. Admission to the games will be free of charge.

• I Play in the G Festival (January 25-26) 

The eighth annual I Play in the G Festival is back at Scotiabank Pond on January 25-26. The weekend-long festival will celebrate all the GTHL community has to offer, from a number of activations throughout the arena, to everything from house league, select, ‘A,’ ‘AA,’ and ‘AAA’ games on-ice.

• GTHL Top Prospects Game fuelled by Gatorade (January 29) 

The 15th annual GTHL Top Prospects Game fuelled by Gatorade will take place on January 29 at Herbert H. Carnegie Centennial Centre. The game is an annual event featuring the League’s top U16 ‘AAA’ players.

• Leaside Invitational Tournaments (January 30 – February 2) 

The Leaside Invitational Tournament strives to ensure teams are placed in groups that match their appropriate skill and tier level to ensure fair competition and ultimate enjoyment for all teams and players. The 2025 Leaside Invitational Tournament is open to Select players from U10 to U18.

The Kennedy (January 30 – February 2) 

The Kennedy 2025, formerly known as the North York Knights Challenge, will welcome 72 teams across U10-U18 ‘A’ divisions and U14 ‘AA’ (no ‘A’ available).
