The Greater Toronto Hockey League (GTHL), committed to strengthening financial transparency and accountability across its member organizations, has today announced the Integrity Action Plan. The Action Plan strives to strengthen financial governance and will serve as a key step toward reinforcing financial oversight, ensuring compliance, and fostering trust within the GTHL.
The Action Plan is designed to address concerns related to financial management within Clubs and Teams, incorporating findings from independent reviews, member consultations, and direct feedback from GTHL families. Rooted in transparency and accountability, the Action Plan outlines immediate, mid-term, and long-term reforms to enhance financial controls, proactively prevent misconduct, and continuously improve communication with parents and stakeholders.
To provide a comprehensive overview, the GTHL has developed a complete and accessible guide to the Action Plan which illustrates its elements, including key findings, steps taken to date, and the critical path forward.
