Jumpstart, GTHL announce funding of $480,000 for 2021-2022 Season

Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities and the Greater Toronto Hockey League (GTHL) announced today that they are making $480,000 available as part of the Playmakers Grant Program for the 2021-2022 season. The funding is open to both GTHL organizations and individual players. Community Grants will assist with operational support, administrative costs and programming support to specifically aid organizations with the costs of delivering sport and recreational programming. Applications for the Playmakers Community Grant can be submitted through Jumpstart’s grant system as of Aug. 9 and until Nov. 1. Organizations can apply for support up to $15,000 and all … Read more

A total of 577 teams from 51 different Hockey Clubs and Associations were approved for participation by the League’s Board of Directors.
