Toronto, ON — The Greater Toronto Hockey League is excited to recognize the Under-14 ‘AA’ Scarborough Young Bruins as the 2025-26 Gatorade Team of the Year.
The GTHL is proud to partner with Gatorade to fuel the 2025-26 Team of the Month and Team of the Year program. The program includes U14, U15, U16, U17, and U18 ‘A’, ‘AA’, or ‘AAA’ teams, which can be nominated for Gatorade Team of the Week. From the Teams of the Week, each month throughout the season, one standout team was selected as the Gatorade Team of the Month. These monthly honourees were then considered for the Gatorade Team of the Year title.
This season’s Gatorade Team of the Month recipients included:

Selected from this impressive group, the U14 AA Scarborough Young Bruins stood out for their commitment to performance, leadership, and community efforts.
On the ice, the the Young Bruins captured the 2025-26 Pro Hockey Life Cup as U14 AA East Regular Season Champions and were 2026 GTHL Playoff Finalists.
Off the ice, the team celebrated the opening night of Scarborough Gardens Arena by hosting a Toy Drive. The drive was in support of a brother of one of the players, Antonio, who has collected toys and donations with his family for years. The toys were later donated to CP24’s Chum City Christmas Wish in support of families in need.
