• GTHL Playoffs presented by GSW (April) 

The 2024-25 GTHL Playoffs presented by GSW come to a close in the month of April. A big congratulations to the teams that will be crowned GTHL Champions later this month!

• GTHL ‘A’ Championships (April)

The 2024-25 GTHL ‘A’ Championship, featuring the GTHL Playoff Champion versus the MHL Playoff Champion, will take place in April. The top ‘A’ team from the GTHL and Mississauga Hockey League will compete in a one-game playoff to determine the GTHL ‘A’ champion! 

• 2025 GTHL Pathway Skill Development Sessions (April)

The GTHL will be hosting Pathway Skill Development Sessions for players not participating in the playoffs to help them prepare for the upcoming 2025-26 competitive tryouts.

• 2025-26 GTHL Competitive Tryouts (April)

Competitive tryouts for the 2025-26 season kick off at the end of April! To attend tryouts you must be fully registered using the 2025-2026 GTHL Tryout Registration link – to register, CLICK HERE.

• Early Bird Registration – 14th Annual GTHL Legacy Classic Golf Tournament presented by Spordle (April)   

The 14th annual GTHL Legacy Classic presented by Spordle returns to the Richmond Hill Golf Club on Tuesday, July 22! The golf tournament is in support of the GTHL Legacy Fund. The GTHL Legacy Fund, established in 2011, provides financial support for GTHL families in need and assists organizations in funding hockey programs with a focus on child and community development. The event features 18 holes of golf, breakfast, post-round lunch, putting green, bucket for the range, contest holes, a silent auction, and the chance to win lots of prizes.

Early bird registration is live and runs until April 30. Don’t miss out – reserve your twosome or foursome in support of the GTHL’s Legacy Fund!

• Toronto Aeros Mark Woszczyna Spring Memorial Classic (April 3-6) 

The Toronto Aeros remember Mark Woszczyna, who played for the Toronto Aeros ‘92 U14 ‘A’ (2005-2006) and U15 (2006) teams until his sudden passing on December 30, 2006. Mark embodied the underlying philosophy of Toronto Aeros hockey – play hard and have fun with your friends. He will always be remembered by the Toronto Aeros with a dedicated Annual Tournament to his memory: “Toronto Aeros Mark Woszczyna Spring Classic Tournament.”

• 2025 Etobicoke Bulldogs Spring Select Classic (April 4-6)

The Etobicoke Bulldogs are back with their year-end House League and Select Tournament! Open to teams U9 to U18. This tournament is a great way for teams to end of their 2023-24 season!

• 2025 U18 ‘AAA’ Central Region Championship (March 31-April 6)

The 2025 U18 ‘AAA’ Central Championship is being hosted by Upper Canada Cyclones of Hockey Eastern Ontario (HEO). Congratulations to the U18 Vaughan Kings, who will be representing the GTHL at this tournament.

• MHL Challenge (April 10-13)

The Mississauga Hockey League has brought back the MHL Challenge Tournament for the 2024-25 season! This tournament is for U11 to U15 Red and Select teams.

• 2025 All-Ontario Championships (April 9-13)

The 2025 U13 ‘AAA’ All-Ontario Championship is being hosted by the Sudbury Minor Hockey Association of the Northern Ontario Hockey Association (NOHA).

The 2025 U15 ‘AAA’ All-Ontario Championships are being hosted by the GTHL’s Markham Majors this year.

• 2025 U14 OHL Cup (April 17-19)

The U14 OHL Cup returns to Kingston for the 2024-25 season. This event is comprised of the top U14 ‘AAA’ teams from across the province and will feature three teams from the GTHL.

• 2025 OHF Championships (April 18-20)

The OHF Championships are a three-day event that produces champions at the U13, U15, and U18 ‘A’ and ‘AA’ divisions. The OHF Championships for these divisions will take place on the weekend of April 18-20 across Ontario.  

Five teams participate at each of the OHF Championships (the OHF Minor Hockey Member Partner Championship teams within the age category plus the host team).
