The road to the Stanley Cup will once again feature a strong presence from the Greater Toronto Hockey League.

As the puck drops on the 2026 Stanley Cup Playoffs on Saturday, April 18, 39 GTHL alumni are set to compete on hockey’s biggest stage. From established stars and Stanley Cup champions to rising young talent spanning 14 different NHL teams, GTHL graduates will be front and centre.

Among the familiar names are some of the League’s most recognizable NHL stars, including the likes of Connor McDavid (Toronto Marlboros), Mitch Marner (Don Mills Flyers), Zach Hyman (Toronto Red Wings), Quinn Hughes (Toronto Marlboros), Brent Burns (North York Rangers), and Jason Robertson (Don Mills Flyers).

This year, the next generation of players are represented well with rising stars. Young standouts like Beckett Sennecke (Toronto Marlboros), Wyatt Johnson (Toronto Marlboros), Denver Barkey (Toronto Titans), and Porter Martone (Toronto Jr. Canadiens) add fresh energy to the NHL postseason.

The Dallas Stars lead the way with six GTHL alumni, while the Edmonton Oilers, Philadelphia Flyers, and the Utah Mammoth each feature four.

The Stanley Cup Playoffs are where stars are made, rivalries ignite, and the unforgettable happens — and GTHL alumni will be right in the middle of it all.
