The Greater Toronto Hockey League is proud to support more than 20 NHL/NHLPA First Shift programs delivered through its Member organizations for the 2026-27 season. Designed for families new to hockey, the First Shift provides an accessible, safe, and fun introduction to the game. Open to players aged 6–10, the program includes a full set of Bauer equipment and six weeks of on-ice sessions focused on building foundational skating and hockey skills.
