Recap | 2026 GTHL Playoffs Presented by GSW

The 2026 GTHL Playoffs presented by Gitch Sportswear once again showcased the passion, talent, hard work, and competitiveness that define hockey across the Greater Toronto Hockey League. From the opening puck drop to championship-clinching moments, a total of 1,612 playoff games were played across the GTHL, with teams battling through every round in pursuit of a title. In the end, nine ‘A’ Champions, nine ‘AA’ Champions and eight ‘AAA’ Champions were crowned, while five ‘A’ GTHL Champions also emerged through the Mississauga Hockey League (MHL) vs. GTHL Championships.

Beyond League play, GTHL teams continued to make their mark on the provincial stage. At the Ontario Hockey Federation (OHF) Championships, the Lorne Park Clarkson Wild captured the inaugural Under-15 BB/A title, the Ted Reeve Thunder were crowned U18 ‘AA’ Champions, and the Greater Toronto Capitals advanced to the final of the U15 ‘AA’ Championship, where host Vaughan Rangers also earned a spot in the bronze medal game. At the All-Ontario Championships, the Vaughan Kings claimed the U15 ‘AAA’ title, the Toronto Marlboros finished as U13 ‘AAA’ finalists, and the Toronto Titans earned bronze at the U18 ‘AAA’ Central Region Championship.
